Draft of Executive Regulations forThe Chambers of Commerce

According to the principle of transparency and participation, the Ministry of Commerce invites all those interested in the draft of the executive regulations for the system of chambers of commerce, and this call is to express opinions and proposals, and this invitation will be until 9/27/1442 AH corresponding to 9/5/ 2021 AD.

The Ministry of Commerce clarified the objective of  (draft executive regulations for the system of chambers of commerce), which is to activate the requirements for referrals contained in the system of chambers of commerce issued based on the Royal Decree No. (M / 37) on 4/22/1442.

Which includes a special statement on how to establish the  chambers of commerce in the administrative region, how to invite general assemblies in all chambers of commerce and their own federation, and how to determine the voting on their decisions, and determining the quorum necessary to hold them.

With a statement of the powers of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation and the Chamber of Commerce, with a statement of the controls related to the use of electronic means, and a statement of all the controls related to preparing the meetings of the Board of Directors and voting on decisions related to it, in addition to the Chambers of Commerce, the General Assembly and the Federation of Chambers.

The Ministry of Commerce also clarified the procedures for nomination to the of draft executive regulations, and the controls for the required experience to be available in a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and how to be elected to the membership of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry determined the appropriate degree of kinship that may be between the candidates to the Board of Directors. It did so in the form of conditions set for membership in the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

The categories of participation in the executive regulations of the Chamber of Commerce and the financial compensation for each category of the Chamber of Commerce were likewise clarified.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Commerce invites all interested parties to participate in the draft of the executive regulations of the Chamber of Commerce system and to express their opinions according to the form designated for this.

A project formula and a form for expressing an opinion have been developed, and participants can view it through the unified electronic platform for polling government agencies and the public.
